HILARIOUS: North Korea’s Nuclear Test Fail Summed Up By One Cartoon

NK fail

Robert Gehl reports that the failed missile test in North Korea may have been an act of sabotage by the United States government.

A former British Foreign Secretary is telling the BBC that American intelligence used cyber warfare before to thwart North Korean missile test and that there is a “strong belief” that the Trump Administration was behind the regime’s failed launch.

Sir Malcolm Rifkind said: “It could have failed because the system is not competent enough to make it work, but there is a very strong belief that the US through cyber methods has been successful on several occasions in interrupting these sorts of tests and making them fail.”

But Rifkind said that despite the failure, North Korea remains a “serious nuclear threat.”

“Don’t get too excited by that, they’ve also had quite a lot of successful tests,” he said. “They are an advanced country when it comes to their nuclear weapons program. That still remains a fact – a hard fact.”

South Korea reported that the launch was attempted near the Sinpo region – the same area where the North tested a ballistic missile in March. Officially, US officials said that the missile exploded on the Launchpad, but they said they weren’t sure what kind of weapon it was.

The failed test came during a parade marking 105 years since the birth of Kim Il-Sung, the totalitarian state’s founder.

North Korea has tested several missiles recently.

They launched a long-range rocket and conducted two nuclear tests last year, including its most powerful to date, as well as carrying out a slew of shorter range missile firings.

A smirking Kim Jong-Un watched a fervent military parade just hours after telling America: “We’re ready for war.”

Chief among the devastating arsenal on show during the parade was a KN-08 rocket, thought to be capable of flying more than 7,000 miles – within range of Los Angeles, New York and Washington DC.

US military experts reacted with shock to the display, as one admitted “we’re floored right now.”
