NRA Sends a ‘Warning Shot’ to the New York Times

In what is probably the best ad to come out in recent memory, Dana Loesch of the National Rifle Association excoriates the New York Times for their claim to speak the “truth,” warning the Times that they are in the NRA’s crosshairs.

Why is the NRA taking on the Times?  Because the NYT has consistently reported fake news for decades.  All one needs to do is read the majority of stories they post on firearms to see that, but they’ve been puppets for the left for years and it shows in their reporting, over and over again.

NYT “Truth” ad: In February, the NYT created a digital ad in which they claim they are purveyors of the truth and have been for years.

NRA hits back: The NRA responded by creating an ad outing the NYT for not actually being purveyors of the truth, which is 100% correct. They are telling the truth about the NYT.

NYT reports Fake News: In just one example of the Times’ blatant lies and fake news, they reported in February (after their little “truthy” video) that Donald Trump claimed he was going to throw all undocumented immigrants the hell out of the country. It was a lie and they were caught in it. From The Gateway Pundit:

On Friday the New York Times published a piece titled Trump’s Blistering Speech at CPAC Follows Bannon’s Blueprint. In the article the New York Times intentionally tried to mislead readers and cause chaos and panic by lying about what President Trump said during his CPAC speech.

NYT falsely reports on firearms: In the video, Loesch talks about the NYT’s false reporting on “assault weapons.” Since the NYT often refers to semi-automatic rifles as “assault rifles,” which they are not, once again the NRA is telling the truth. From the New York Times:

At one time, military-style assault rifles like the ones used at a nightclub in Orlando, Fla., and in other mass shootings represented a relatively small segment of sales for gun manufacturers. [emphasis added]

If you want the truth about “assault weapons,” you can check out and yes, it has been sent to reporters at the NYT so they could try to accurately report the news.

Why is this important? Americans deserve truth in reporting. How can people expect to make decisions or judgements about important issues if they are being fed a pack of lies on a regular basis by mainstream news organizations like the New York Times?

The NYT has come under fire for their false reporting and their liberal twisting of the facts for years. They have long been known as just another arm of the Democrat Party and that seemed to be quite alright with them — until Trump was elected.

With a president in the White House who is actually calling out fake news (a term actually coined by the Hillary Clinton campaign), news organizations like the NYT are being questioned now more than ever, and on a much grander scale.

Many Americans have lost trust in “mainstream” news organizations like the Times for valid reasons. The NRA taking them on is going to be a like watching an epic movie with lots of action, so stock up on popcorn, this is just the first scene.

And remember, if you know for certain that a news report is false, what are the odds the other news reports in the same publication are the truth?
