Reports are coming in of a possible shooter on the loose at Ben Taub Hospital in Texas Medical Center.
The Blaze reports that patients have been evacuated from the hospital, and Houston police have deployed 200 officers to the scene, including SWAT and K9 unites, following the release of this emergency alert from Baylor College of Medicine:

Local ABC affiliate KTRK reports that according to Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo, there is so far “no evidence of shooter or shooting,” although witnesses describe hearing an “indistinguishable noise,” hospital personnel yelling “code white” (a warning for employees to stay away from the hospital), and doctors allegedly hearing shots fired on the second floor.
Fortunately, the police report that no confirmed injuries or harm has turned up yet:
