BREAKING: Anthony Weiner To Plead Guilty In Minor Sexting Case

Disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner will be pleading guilty to one charge of transferring obscene material to a minor, and will very possibly face a prison sentence for the crime as well.

The news first broke on The New York Times, which reported that Weiner surrendered himself to the FBI early Friday morning.

The federal authorities have been investigating reports that, beginning in January 2016, Mr. Weiner, then 51, exchanged sexually explicit messages with a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina.

The plea covers conduct by Mr. Weiner from January through March of last year, the person said. A likely result of the plea is that Mr. Weiner would end up as a registered sex offender, although a final determination has yet to be made, the person added.

The charge carries a potential sentence of between zero and 10 years in prison, meaning Mr. Weiner could avoid prison. The ultimate sentence would be determined by a judge.

For Weiner, he really should be getting a prison sentence for this. His history indicates that this is not an isolated incident, but just one in a series of lewd, inappropriate sexual encounters with other women. The fact that these images were sent to a minor shows just how incredibly messed up his moral compass is.

Remember that his scandalous woes began way back in 2011, when Andrew Breitbart noticed a lewd picture of his crotch posted on Twitter. Weiner claimed his account was hacked, but later recanted because he was actually engaging in inappropriate online relationships with other women online.

But it didn’t stop there; more was revealed in 2013. Screenshots were captured of Weiner having sexualized conversations with another woman online. And what was the real kicker there? It happened right after his resignation from Congress due to the fall from the first scandal!

If Weiner cannot keep his weiner to himself, and habitually… shares it with others, including minors, that’s a crime deserving of prison time.

But will his Democrat privilege get him out of the deserved prison sentence?
