Ohio’s prison system website was hacked on Sunday, with the hackers leaving an anti-Donald Trump and pro-Islamic State message on the government’s website.
Cleveland.com reports the website for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction showed a page that said a hacking group called Team System Dz had hacked the site.
A message the hackers left on the site reads:
“Anti: Govt all word
You will be held accountable Trump, you and all your people for every drop of blood flowing in Muslim countries.
I love the Islamic state”
ODRC spokeswoman JoEllen Smith said in a statement that her agency is aware of the hack.
“We are aware of the situation and we are working aggressively to correct the situation,” Smith’s statement says. “A thorough investigation will be conducted to determine how this occurred and how it can be prevented in the future.”
An Ohio Attorney Generals’ Office spokesman said their agency would not necessarily be involved in any criminal investigation regarding the apparent hack.
