As we covered earlier, 27-year-old Democrat National Committee staffer Seth Rich was murdered on July 10 in what authorities are calling a robbery, but a bizarre new wrinkle has entered the fray.
Now, Young Cons brings our attention to video of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange insinuating — though not outright stating — that Seth was actually his group’s source for the explosive DNC emails they leaked during the Democrats’ national convention.
“[Our] whistleblowers go to significant efforts to get us material and often very significant risks,” Assange said, denying the shooting was a simple robbery.
WikiLeaks is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of Rich’s killer.
Assange and WikiLeaks are certainly no allies to conservatives, many of whom take a dim view of leaking classified intelligence that endangers national security, but he clearly doesn’t like Hillary Clinton or the Obama Administration either.
Assange has previously attacked the former Secretary of State for advocating his indictment and for not being anti-war enough (think about that).
Whatever his motive here, and regardless of whether there’s any fire to this conspiracy theory, we can at least say that Hillary’s Democrat Party bears some responsibility for Rich’s death in one way: DC’s liberal gun-control policies they refuse to reconsider despite doing nothing to reduce gun violence.
