California Governor Calls Taxpayers “Freeloaders”

Earlier we reported on the fact that the Governor of California has millions of dollars set aside in his latest budget to help illegal aliens with defense fees for lawyers. California’s Governor Moonbeam, Jerry Brown, is at it again.

Not only does he want to spend millions of taxpayer dollars to fund illegal aliens and their defense team of lawyers when they are being deported, but he’s raising taxes as well.

Brown actually had the nerve to call taxpayers who are already overtaxed “freeloaders.” From MRC TV:

In response to criticism over a new $52 billion tax hike for the already heavily-taxed state, Gov. Jerry Brown (D-Calif.) called upset taxpayers “freeloaders.”

“The freeloaders — I’ve had enough of them,” Brown said at an event in Orange Country last week.

Yes, law-abiding Californians who work and pay taxes are “freeloaders” according to his liberal logic, just because they don’t support getting taxed even more than they already are.

California already has one of the top 10 highest tax rates in the country, yet somehow the people who are paying all those taxes are freeloaders to the governor?

When California lawmakers continue to waste money on things like the “train to nowhere” rather than spending hard-earned tax dollars effectively, residents have a right to complain. Taxpayers aren’t the freeloaders as Governor Brown called them; they are the ones footing the bill for his wasteful overspending in the state.
