Cornell University Students Host “Cry-Ins” To Mourn Trump’s Election

There’s been quite a wave of liberals recently who think that if you don’t like something, such as fair elections and the second amendment, then you should host a “sit-in” and compare your battle with the Civil Rights Movement’s fight against institutional discrimination.

These mock “sit-ins” have reached a new level of ridiculous on the campus of Cornell University.

Students there are gathering for “cry-ins” where they sit in tears in response to Trump winning the election.

The Daily Wire reports:

As reported by The Cornell Sun on Wednesday, over 50 fragile students gathered together on campus to “mourn” the Trump win with a “cry in,” “braving the cold, wind and occasional rain,” the Sun unironically notes

Said “cry in” apparently included Cornellians sitting “in a circle to share stories and console each other” while organizers encouraged “attendees to gather closer together and ‘include each other.'”

“Willard Straight Hall Resource Center employees gave out blankets, tissues and hot chocolate to keep participants warm, while students signed posters with words of encouragement and protest, including ‘Donald Trump is not my president,'” reports the Sun.

Students participating in the sit-ins were frightened that a Trump presidency would threaten the availability of abortion and that Trump’s so-called racism and homophobia would divide the nation.

Let’s hope professors don’t give these kids an easy pass when they say they were too busy crying to finish their assignments.
