Flashback from C.E. Dyer: Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton has the system rigged in her favor and, according to the Daily Caller, current Democrat National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile fed the Clinton campaign a question at a CNN town hall in March. Brazile was a contributor with the Clinton News Network at the time.
In an email to Clinton campaign communications director Jennifer Palmieri, Brazile wrote, “From time to time I get the questions in advance.”
The email was part of the WikiLeaks release of thousands of emails allegedly from the account of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, and this particular email was released Tuesday in part three.
“Here’s one that worries me about HRC,” Brazile wrote, followed by the town hall question regarding the death penalty.
“Yes, it is one she gets asked about,” Palmieri wrote in response. “Not everyone likes her answer but can share it. Betsaida – can you send her answer on death penalty?”
At the CNN town hall the next day in Columbus, Ohio, Clinton was asked about the death penalty. Ricky Jackson, a death row inmate who was exonerated after 39 years in an Ohio prison, posed the question to Clinton.
“I would breathe a sigh of relief if either the courts or the states themselves began to eliminate the death penalty,” Clinton responded. “What happened to you is a travesty and I can’t even imagine what you went through and how terrible those days and nights must have been for all those years.”
Brazile claimed that she was a neutral commentator during her time at CNN but, as this email leak has proven, that’s absolutely not the case. The left-wing media, predictably, ate it up and touted Brazile as an impartial analyst.
It’s interesting to note that Brazile took over for Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who was forced to “take one for the team” and step down when WikiLeaks revealed that she spearheaded the charge against Sen. Bernie Sanders and rigged the election in favor of Clinton.
The Daily Caller requested Brazile’s comments and she obliged. “What a stretch,” she claimed. A longer statement followed on Tuesday via the DNC:
As a longtime political activist with deep ties to our party, I supported all of our candidates for president. I often shared my thoughts with each and every campaign, and any suggestions that indicate otherwise are simply untrue.
Brazile used a typical liberal tactic in the face of what appeared to be damning evidence — deny it ever happened — and blame the Russians, for good measure.
“I never had access to questions and would never have shared them with the candidates if I did,” Brazile claimed in response to the email that showed otherwise.
This was the introduction co-host Roland Martin gave for the question from Jackson at the town hall, courtesy of Mediaite: “Secretary Clinton, since 1976, we have executed 1,414 people in this country. Since 1973, 156 who were convicted have been exonerated from the death row. This gentleman here is one of them.”
Of course, Brazile tried to deflect by blaming the Russians because, somehow, it’s their fault that the media is massively corrupt.
