Here is a Complete List of Things Trump Wants to Cut

President Donald Trump just released his 2018 budget proposal and, true to his campaign promises, he’s pushing to cut a lot of fat.

Trump has called for a $54 billion increase in defense spending, and in an effort to both find the money for it and begin the long-overdue process of cutting out waste, there are a lot of areas he has set his sights on.

Numerous agencies and programs are on the chopping block — in some cases because they weren’t performing, and in other cases because they deem the program to be better served by the private sector.

Better served by the private sector and having performance standards — that’s a welcome change in perspective from the last eight years, don’t you think?

Take a look at this list below, compiled by The Washington Post of the agencies the Trump budget is proposing to nix. Keep in mind, as the Post noted, this is just the list of those specifically addressed by name, which means that there could be a lot more on the way out as there are areas discussed in the budget for elimination that aren’t specifically named:
