Here’s The Leaked DHS Draft Memo on Using Guard For Immigration Enforcement

Yet another leak has come out of the government thanks to the deep state organized by the Obama administration to undermine President Trump. The Associated Press reported on a leaked draft memo Friday on potentially using the National Guard to enforce immigration law — something former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama both did — and has now released the full memo.

The early draft memo from Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly titled “Implementing the President’s Border Security and Immigration Enforcement Improvements Policies” allegedly called to utilize 100,000 National Guard troops to arrest illegal immigrants.

The Trump administration responded to the AP’s story calling it “100% not true,” and a spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security noted that the option to use National Guard troops in this capacity was “never seriously considered.”

Zero Hedge reported:

The DHS further said it considered, but rejected, letting governors in 11 states decide whether to deputize their National Guards to enforce immigration law, including helping to detain and deport unauthorized immigrants. The memo is dated January 25, 2017, the same day that President Trump signed the executive order in question, and is consistent with DHS’s statement that it’s an “early draft.”

The liberal mainstream media got their hooks into the story and the order that should never have been leaked in the first place, and decided to spin it to make it as alarmist as possible. They reportedly claimed that the order called for rounding people up and deporting them — which gets some people’s backs up because unfortunately they think that enforcing our laws is such a scary and terrible thing.

Just one problem, however: the memo language doesn’t reference deportations, according to the Federalist’s Sean Davis.

Once again, just like with the Michael Flynn debacle, the real story here is the leaks. It’s not really even about the memo, good, bad, or indifferent.

What should be concerning to all Americans regardless of political persuasion is that there is a deep state coup going on in the government, which is creating a dangerous situation.

The problem is that too many people have been blinded by irrational hatred and fear of Trump, fomented by the left, that doesn’t allow them to see what they should be afraid: the deep-state actors actively working to undermine the president the American people elected and the dangerous consequences these leaks can easily have.
