Real safe space babies don’t let other safe space babies cry alone.
Enter a bunch of safe space babies who reportedly sent employees of the Environmental Protection Agency hundreds of cookies last week to console them over President Donald Trump’s reasonable plan to cut spending at the exceptionally bloated agency.
“Thank you so much for all you do,” the cookies’ packaging read, according to the Washington Examiner. “You save lives. You make the world better.”
The EPA does save lives and make an important difference, but what in the world does President Trump’s desire to trim its budget — which has in the past been wasted on frivolous garbage — have to do with anything?
Ultimately, it boils down to liberals’ erroneous belief that the president hates the environment, hates clean air, hates clean water, etc.
But as noted by the Conservative Tribune, this belief is just plain false:
Despite what liberals frequently claim, President Donald Trump’s desire to cut spending at the Environmental Protection Agency has nothing to do with his alleged love for dirty water or his alleged lack of appreciation for Mother Earth.
Ergo, it should come as no major surprise — except to those who read fake news — that Trump’s EPA has responded to the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, by taking concrete action …
“The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) today awarded a $100 million grant to the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality to fund drinking water infrastructure upgrades in Flint, Mich,” the EPA itself announced in a statement published Friday.
See, Trump’s cuts are not designed to stop the EPA from doing what it’s actually supposed to do. They’re instead geared to prevent any radicals at the agency from wasting taxpayer funds to, as an example, watch pornography or research Twitter posts.
Or, worse, act like a nanny: “The EPA wants hotels to monitor how much time its guests spend in the shower,” Jack Dini of Canada Free Press reported two years ago. “The goal of the project is to change the behavior of Americans when they stay at hotels.”

The Environmental Protection Agency was not was not created to act like the American people’s mother. It was formed to work toward a cleaner, healthier environment on behalf of the American people.
With that in mind, who did the American people vote into office last year?
Donald J. Trump.
So why are liberal safe space babies acting like EPA employees are victims just because the man voted into office by the American people wants to trim the agency’s budget?
That, dear Watson, is the question …
