Robert Gehl reports that the Clinton Foundation announced Sunday that they have no plans to return the $250,000 in donations that disgraced Hollywood icon Harvey Weinstein gave – even after he was accused of harassing and raping dozens of women.
Foundation officials said they can’t return the money – ranging from $100,000 to a quarter-million dollars – because it’s already been spent, the Daily Mail reports.
The bizarre announcement comes as leftist organizations and politicians consider returning or donating any cash Weinstein made to them. Hillary Clinton even said she would “re-gift” the donations made to her campaign by the accused rapist to charity.
Weinstein was a major “bundler” for Clinton, donating tens of thousands of dollars to her presidential campaign.
Sens. Chuck Schumer, Al Franken, Cory Booker and Elizabeth Warren have all pledged do donate their Weinstein contributions to groups that focus on women’s rights.
Justifying keeping the money, Foundation spokesman Craig Minassian said all that cash went to a good cause.

“Suggesting @ClintonFdn return funds from our 330,000+ donors ignores the fact that donations have been used to help people across the world,” Minassian wrote on Twitter.
The argument – we suppose – is that the Clinton Foundation is a charity (if you believe that) and that his cash went to a good cause anyway.
The Foundation is run by Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton. The Daily Mail managed to catch up with Chelsea at an event in Boston, but when she was asked about the Weinstein Money, she ran from the reporter: “The former first daughter hustled out a side door after the event, evading a reporter as she rushed to her car surrounded by aides and security,” they write.
A Daily Mail reporter on Saturday asked Chelsea: “Chelsea, will the foundation give back the donations from Harvey Weinstein? Do you plan to return the $100,000?”
According to the reporter, Chelsea “looked straight ahead and ignored the questions as she scurried through the side lot and ducked into her waiting black sedan.” Security further blocked the reporter from asking Chelsea the question again…
…Earlier in the day, Chelsea had ducked the same questions from DailyMail.com after her car dropped her off at the front of the building. When she left the event, Chelsea departed through the isolated side door as her car idled next to it, seemingly to give her a chance to flee quickly.
Twitter exploded when the news broke, with people eviscerating the Clinton Foundation.
Clinton Foundation is keeping Harvey Weinstein's $250,000. Why am I not surprised? They didn't spare Haiti. You think they'll spare women?

Let's flip this on its head, shall we? Can you imagine the outrage if the Trump Foundation didn't give back Harvey Weinstein's $250,000?

Other groups and institutions have been torn on what to do with tainted cash from Weinstein.
Spelman College returned a donation from Bill Cosby to fund an endowed professorship in 2015, after dozens of women came forward to accuse the comedian of drugging and raping them.
Last year, the University of Ohio gave back $500,000 in donations from former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes and removed an honorary plaque in its college newsroom after he was accused of sexual harassment by multiple women. Ailes passed away in May.
What do you think? Is there anything that would cause the Clintons to loosen their vice-like grip on that wad of tainted cash? Sound off below!
