For 33 minutes Tuesday, President Obama spoke about himself.
The media’s going to tell you it’s about guns, but it’s not. In the 33 minutes from start to finish, Barack Obama mentioned himself 76 times.
He spoke about meeting Gabby Giffords, he spoke about his pain. He lied to us about how much he supports the Second Amendment. He talked about his expertise as a constitutional law professor. He talked about how angry and sad he was thinking of victims of mass shootings.
All told, Grabien, a media marketplace found 76 instances where Obama spoke about himself.
Obama just loves to talk about himself. Last year, in what has to be a narcissism record, Barack Obama mentioned himself 133 times in less than three minutes.
This is nothing new. Way back in 2009, Fox News noticed how much Barack Obama loves to talk about himself.
Obama loves to hear himself talk – about himself. In just 41 speeches so this year, not including this week’s big speech at the United Nations, Obama has talked about himself nearly 1,200 times – 1,198 to be exact. (That breaks down to 1,121 “I”s and just 77 “me”s.)
