James Comey Gets More BAD NEWS…

Former FBI Director James Comey has become a celebrity figure ever since he was fired by President Trump last year.

Right now, he’s preparing to embark on a tour to pitch his new book, “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership,” which will ensure that he gets plenty of media face time.

But there is more than meets the eye to Comey, who spent years meticulously constructing an image as a dedicated, if not heroic, public servant.

He presided over the FBI during a time when the bureau was transformed from the nation’s preeminent law enforcement institution into a political arm of the Obama administration.

Comey now finds himself increasingly entangled in Republican-led probes into how the FBI under Dear Leader intervened on behalf of Hillary Clinton to bury evidence of her criminality while, at the same time, undertaking a sinister operation to damage her political opponent, Donald Trump.

The 6’ 8” Comey played a key role in not only giving Hillary a get out of jail free card, but also in what has all the appearances of a soft coup against now President Donald Trump.

And he is facing increasing scrutiny over his leaking of classified information to friendly media sources to damage Trump and pave the way for his removal from office.

Then there’s the news just out today: Not only is Comey’s stellar image about to take a hit, but he could be on the brink of getting disbarred as an attorney for his political chicanery.

Via the Blaze “Comey faces bar membership challenge over alleged leak memos”:

Former FBI Director James Comey is facing a challenge to his New York bar membership for allegedly leaking memos that detail his interactions with President Donald Trump, The Washington Times reports.

What happened?

Attorney Ty Clevenger wrote the New York lawyers’ disciplinary committee on Friday, saying that if Comey leaked classified information, it should boost the case against him, according to The Washington Times.

Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) earlier this week revealed that Comey allegedly wrote seven memos about his interactions with Trump. The government believes at least four of the memos may contain classified information. Additionally, Comey is accused of leaking at least four memos to a friend who is a law professor.

Grassley contents that it’s likely at least one of the memos Comey leaked to his friend had classified information.

Clevenger maintains that Comey’s actions go against New York bar rules that prohibit attorneys from “illegal conduct that adversely reflects on the lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer,” The Washington Times reported.

Clevenger wrote: “If Mr. Comey deliberately leaked the documents, his breach of duty was analogous to willful breach of client confidentiality, and that reflects adversely on his ‘honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer.’”

Senator Grassley has been a pit bull as he, alongside House Intel Committee chairman, Devin Nunes, attempts to peel away all of the layers of Deep State obfuscation and get to the truth on not only how the FBI/DOJ used the Fusion GPS dossier as the basis for their Russian collusion witch hunt, but what Comey’s role in it all was.

Chances are that it’s a big one, and it is inconceivable that Comey wasn’t aware of the unfolding plot to take down Trump that now rests in the hands of his longtime friend and mentor, Robert Mueller.

Disbarring Comey would be a humiliating blow, but it’s the least of his worries – one wonders whether those orange jumpsuits come in extra-tall because he may soon be needing one.
