Kimberly Guilfoyle Allegedly In Talks To Replace Sean Spicer As Press Secretary

There have been whispers in D.C. that Donald Trump is already thinking about shaking up his staff, beginning with Press Secretary Sean Spicer.

What’s interesting is who may actually replace Spicer in the roll. Of course, it’s just a rumor, and rumors abound in swamp as they always have. From The Daily Caller:

Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle says she has been in talks with President Trump to become the new White House press secretary.

In an interview with Bay Area News Group, Guilfoyle said the idea of her taking over the role has been “raised by a number of people” in the Trump administration.

Guilfoyle went on to basically sell herself for the job as if she was giving an interview:

“I’m a patriot, and it would be an honor to serve the country,” she said. “I think it’d be a fascinating job, it’s a challenging job, and you need someone really determined and focused, a great communicator in there with deep knowledge to be able to handle that position.”

Since Guilfoyle has previously been a prosecutor, she’d definitely be able to handle questions from the press like a champ. However, that doesn’t stop the issues with Trump speaking about topics without letting his own staff know. Nor does that prepare anyone for Trump’s tweeting.

It seems there will be some type of shakeup in the White House staff, but it’s unclear when or if it will actually happen.

Honestly, you just never know with Trump from one day to the next.
