Nancy Pelosi Makes Very Unexpected Statement On Impeachment Calls

If you saw pigs flying by your window today, you’ll know why in a minute.

Apparently, Nancy Pelosi actually made sense, which has got to be one of the first times in her entire career. When at a town hall televised on CNN, Pelosi actually told supporters that they shouldn’t be crying out “Impeach” just because they don’t like President Trump.

She actually…wait for it…said people should use facts if they are going to talk about impeachment. From The Washington Examiner:

House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi knocked down growing calls from members of her own party to impeach President Trump during a town hall Monday.

Pelosi told a CNN town hall that impeachment must be rooted in facts rather than personal opinions about the president. The San Francisco Democrat was asked specifically about Texas Democrat Al Green’s calls to impeach Trump over the firing of former FBI Director James Comey.

She said the calls are a reflection of what Democratic members are hearing from their constituencies but said she personally does not subscribe to that notion.

“In other words, again, if you are talking about impeachment, you are talking about what are the facts. Not that I don’t like him and I don’t like his hair and — what are the facts?” Pelosi said.

This an interesting development actually. Are Democrats finally realizing that they aren’t doing anything to give voters in 2018 a reason to vote for them? Are Democrats finally realizing that by continuing to behave the same way they have over the past eight years, which is why Trump was elected, they are doing more of the same?

It’ll be entertaining to see if any other Democrats continue in this line of actually making sense for once. Of course, it’ll all be for show to get elected.
