A new Fox News poll showed that despite the mainstream media’s fake news narrative regarding Russian hacking and the election, most Americans see through the B.S. and don’t think the alleged Russian interference had an effect on the election results.
Fox News reported:
CIA officials reportedly believe Russian hackers meddled in the election to help Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton. Yet 59 percent of voters believe the hacking didn’t make a difference.
The poll finds 32 percent think Russia did help Trump in the election, while just one percent says the cyber-attacks aided Clinton.
More than 7 voters in 10 are familiar with reports Russia tried to interfere with the election (73 percent). By a 41-1 percent margin, that group thinks the hacking helped Trump rather than Clinton, while 54 percent say it didn’t matter.
Eighty-five percent of Republicans, 64 percent of independents, and 36 percent of Democrats think the Russians didn’t affect the outcome.
Sixty-two percent of Clinton voters believe Russian hacking helped Trump.
The Fox News poll is based on landline and cellphone interviews with 1,034 randomly chosen registered voters nationwide and was conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R) from December 11-13, 2016. The poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points for all registered voters.
The Left is grasping at straws to do several things — undermine the election results, potentially overturn the results, and/or deflect from the damning information found in the leaks of the Democrat National Committee and Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta’s emails.
It’s pathetically transparent — which is typical of the Left.
There’s really no new information, yet it has been resurrected after the election outcome didn’t go in the Democrats’ favor.
As we reported here at TFPP, the Democrats were alerted to the hacking of their systems numerous times and refused to do anything about it, yet now it’s apparently a big deal? Give me a break.
Also, with such little evidence to go on, why is the story public? I would hope that the CIA and FBI are actively looking into all kinds of hacking attempts that we know go on with heavy frequency. Why, then, is this story spread so thick when the information that has been put out has more holes than Swiss cheese?
That would be because it is a textbook example of the Left’s specialty — fake news. There’s nothing to go on here, but you’ve got White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest smearing Trump and throwing allegations at the wall hoping to see what sticks.
As we all know, there doesn’t have to be evidence for the Left — that’s something we got confirmation of in the DNC leaks. They know that all they have to do is put it out there and into the minds of the people. Even if it’s proven untrue, the seed has still been planted.
