Obama Secretly Lobbying To Be President Of The WORLD

Now it all makes sense.

Barack Obama is privately lobbying international figures to take over as U.N. Secretary General when he leaves the presidency.

A Kuwaiti newspaper is reporting that President Obama is working behind the scenes, both globally and here in the U.S. to navigate his way into the position when Ban Ki-moon leaves his term at the end of this year. The paper Al-Jarida claims Obama has already discussed the plan with Democrats, Republicans and Jewish officials in the United States, the Jerusalem Post is reporting.

To thwart those efforts, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is working with “moderate” Arab governments to oppose him. Netanyahu apparently calls his efforts to thwart the President’s plan as “The Obama Project.

“Wasn’t eight years of having Obama in office enough?” Netanyahu is quoted in the Kuwaiti daily as telling associates. “Eight years during which he ignored Israel? And now he wants to be in a position that is liable to cause us hardships in the international arena.”

Obama is considered the worst president Israel has had to work with and having him as U.N. Secretary General would be a disaster for the only true democratic nation in the Middle East.

This may – in some measure – explain why Obama has cut a deal with Iran and refused to engage other tyrants around the globe.

A source close to Netanyahu did not deny to Al-Jarida that the premier is aiming to “torpedo the Obama project,” noting that “his presidency was characterized by [Washington’s] moving closer to the Muslim Brotherhood, toppling the regime of Hosni Mubarak, and attempts to ally itself with political Islam.”

“Obama’s term is ending with him forging an alliance with Iran, coming to an agreement with it on its nuclear program which in the end will result in a similar scenario that took place with North Korea,” the aide said.

“Israel will not allow this to happen,” the source is quoted as saying. “It will take all of the necessary steps to prevent Iran from manufacturing a nuclear weapon either covertly or overtly.”

The prime minister’s associate told Al-Jarida that Netanyahu “sees an opportunity to establish good relations based on shared interests with moderate states from which Obama has moved away.”

Having a former United States president as U.N. Sectary General would be a powerful statement. The thought is that a U.S. Congress would be very reluctant to oppose a former president’s goals as head of the world body – even a Republican Congress.
