Reuters Reports On Trump Contacts With Russia, But Buries Proof Of Innocence

The mainstream media “broke” another big story about President Donald Trump Thursday morning.

The Reuters story claims that during the campaign, Trump “had at least 18 undisclosed contacts with Russians during the presidential race.”

Of course, they waited until the sixth paragraph to share the most important part of the story:

The people who described the contacts to Reuters said they had seen no evidence of wrongdoing or collusion between the campaign and Russia in the communications reviewed so far.

That’s the most important part of the story … that sentence is factual. But since it doesn’t fit the narrative they’re trying to push, they had a “but” in the same paragraph:

But the disclosure could increase the pressure on Trump and his aides to provide the FBI and Congress with a full account of interactions with Russian officials and others with links to the Kremlin during and immediately after the 2016 election.

Sometimes, the mainstream media are forced to report actual facts. But when they do, they’re more than happy to couch the facts with their own particular spin.
