You cannot sit there and call yourselves the more tolerant political party when you also house people who will throw around racial slurs simply because someone disagrees with them.
Republican Sen. Tim Scott exposed liberal hypocrisy on the Senate floor Wednesday evening when he read hateful and racist tweets that were directed at him after he his vote to confirm Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.
“If you sign up to be a black conservative, the chances are very high you will be attacked,” he said. “It comes with the territory, and I’ve had it for 20 years, two decades, but my friends and my staff, they’re not used to the level of animus that comes in from the liberal left that suggests that I somehow am not helpful to the cause of liberal America and therefore I am not helpful to black America.”
He then proceeded to read a slew of hateful messages he received from liberals, opting to leave out the ones that contained the n-word because “I just felt like that would not be appropriate.”

This is absolutely disgusting behavior, and what makes it worse is the fact that they are coming from the very people who will, in their next breath, condemn racism. I guess the hateful rhetoric is okay as long as the black person at whom is it aimed is a Republican or conservative. Somehow that makes them less of a minority.
