Trump Refuses To Wear G20 Pin, Opts Instead For Something That Upsets Everyone In The Room!

Once again, President Donald Trump showed the world what a proud patriot looks like.

The leaders of the world’s 19 wealthiest nations plus the European Union met together at the annual G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany.

When the world leaders emerged for a photo op, it became apparent that the majority of the assembled leaders wore the square G20 pins on their lapel.

But not Trump. He was only wearing an American flag…

Trump also stood out against the rest in the same way during last month’s NATO summit, when he wore his American pin while most of the other leaders wore the NATO pin either solo or next to their country’s pin.

The recurring fashion choice is no accident. President Trump has repeatedly stated that he was elected to be the leader of America and not the entire world, and has routinely warned America of entangling itself in foreign wars and unfair trade deals.

Last month, the President decided to withdraw the United States from the Paris Climate Accord because it “unfairly” targeted American businesses and the U.S. economy.

“I was elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris,” said the President.

Germany had the presidency of the G20 this year, and it put on the agenda topics almost guaranteed to rile the U.S. president, including climate change, free trade, and helping migrants and refugees. Trump was expected to suggest new tariffs and trade hurdles in the meetings.

Say what you will about our president, but he truly does care about this country, and his subtle but respectable wardrobe choice is a lovely reminder of that.
