Trump Slams FAKE NEWS Russia Story in Tweetstorm

In the early hours on this first day of spring, President Trump’s slew of tweets explained the only thing blooming in D.C. is conspiracy.

President Trump’s multiple tweets set the stage for the day’s events.

FBI Director James Comey and National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers will testify before a House panel investigating if and how much Russia had to do with President Trump’s successful election to the Oval Office.

According to The Hill:

Trump said Democrats “pushed the Russian story” to cover up for their poorly run presidential campaign.

Trump also said there is no evidence to suggest he worked with Russia.

The president instead tried to direct spotlight on finding individuals who are leaking classified information.

Comey and National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers are set to testify in front of a House Intelligence Committee hearing Monday morning.

Republicans and Democrats alike have called for investigations into Russian meddling after hacked emails from Democratic organizations and Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, were published on WikiLeaks.

The demands for an investigation became louder after reports of connections between Trump campaign aides and Russian diplomats came to light.

On President Trump’s Twitter account, he labeled all of this as the Democrats’ “FAKE NEWS” “excuse for running a terrible campaign.”

His final tweets of the morning shift the focus off of POTUS and onto the leaker of classified information, CNN’s Fake News stories, and the Clinton campaign colluding with the Russians.

It will be interesting to see what comes up with the daffodils this spring.
