You Won’t Believe What Trump Just Said He And Merkel Have in Common

The media has been all riled up for some time now since President Donald Trump tweeted an accusation that former President Barack Obama wiretapped him. On Thursday, during a joint press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Trump doubled down in a hilarious way.

Zero Hedge reported:

Following today’s latest developments over Trump’s allegations that the UK’s GCHQ may or may not have helped Obama to wiretap the Trump Tower, an allegation which the infuriated British Spy Agency called “utterly ridiculous” and prompted it to demand an apology from the White House, a German reporter asked Trump for his current opinion on whether Obama had indeed wiretapped Trump. The president’s response: he gestured to Angela Merkel and said “on wiretapping by this past administration, at least we have something in common” […]

For those unsure what the exchange was about, we suggest you read the Telegraph’s “Barack Obama ‘approved tapping Angela Merkel’s phone 3 years ago’…  President Barack Obama was told about monitoring of German Chancellor in 2010 and allowed it to continue, says German newspaper” […]

Finally, as Axios adds, after Trump and Merkel left the stage reporters again asked Sean Spicer whether he apologized for repeating an anonymously sourced Fox News claim that British intelligence helped in wiretapping Trump Tower. His response: “I don’t think we regret anything.

Trump’s response is pretty great, and to watch Merkel respond as if she was unsure what he was talking about was laughable.

It’s fun to watch a globalist get their knickers in a twist when someone, especially the President of the United States, pushes away the globalist Kool-Aid.

Trump is being attacked from every angle, from the deep state within the government to their left-wing mainstream media propaganda arm. Yet so far, he’s standing strong and not crumbling under the immense pressure.

It’s an incredibly welcome development after watching years and years of Republicans by and large either giving in to far less pressure or evidencing that they are nothing more than RINOs in on it with the left.

The bottom line is that shady stuff is being done by numerous parties trying to take down Trump, which he clearly understands full well and is refusing to back down in the face of.

Good for him and good for us.
