BREAKING: Terrorist Attack In Stockholm, Sweden With Truck and Gunfire

In the early afternoon hours in Stockholm, yet another terrorist attack took place in a crowded shopping center in the Drottninggata area. The attack reportedly involved the suspect ramming civilians with a truck, along with gunfire.

Swedish radio says Friday that three people have been killed in the crash and Swedish broadcaster SVT says shots have been fired. People in the area are fleeing the scene.

The Swedish news agency TT says several people have been rushed away in ambulances, and live television footage showed smoke coming out of the department store that the truck smashed into.

Swedish police said say they have received calls about a person who has injured others driving a vehicle on the central Stockholm street of Drottninggatan. Police spokeswoman Towe Hagg says people have been injured but she would not confirm the deaths.

A Stockholm resident tweeted video of crowds fleeing from the area where the attack took place.

The Mirror reports that this is the truck that was used in the attack.

Police said a number of people had been hurt in the incident, which comes after trucks were used in terror attacks in Nice and Berlin last year.

Gunshots were also heard from the scene with horrific images showing pools of blood in the street.
