BREAKING: Rep Omar Splits With Husband, Moves Into Luxury Penthouse

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has split from her husband, the father of her three children to move into an expensive penthouse.

The Congresswoman, who is a member of The Squad with New York Rep. Ocasio-Cortez and Reps Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley, has not issued a statement, The Daily Mail reported.

The bust-up comes just as critics are demanding answers as to whether she married her own brother in a successful bid to get him into the United States.

Omar has now dumped her current husband Ahmed Hirsi – who she first married in a religious ceremony in 2002 and divorced in 2008 – and moved into a penthouse apartment in one of Minneapolis’s trendiest neighborhoods, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.

But Hirsi, is also spending time at the apartment, which is just a block from the Mississippi River in the Mill District sector of Minnesota’s largest city, when she is out of town.

“Wow,” her husband Ahmed Hirsi said when asked by The Daily Mail. “I can’t comment on that. I’m sorry, I just can’t say anything.”

“’I’m sorry, I just can’t say anything,” he told the reporter from The Daily Mail as he drove off in his BMW, The Mail reported.

Hirsi, 39, had been seen leaving the $2,860-a-month home alone at 7:45am and returning to drop off his mother and his younger daughter nearly three hours later.

‘He only goes there when Ilhan is in DC,’ one family friend told DailyMail.com. ‘When she’s in Minneapolis he sleeps at his house.’

Did Omar marry her brother?

Hirsi was noticeably absent when Omar returned to a hero’s welcome at Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport last week after being attacked by President Donald Trump.

Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar should have been quitter since getting into Congress because now that she has the attention she has the scrutiny.

And a major part of that scrutiny involves a marriage that many believe was to her brother in an effort to get around United States Immigration laws.

“There’s a lot of talk about the fact that she was married to her brother. I know nothing about it. … I’m sure that somebody would be looking at that,” President Donald Trump said this week.

He was correct as now there is new information that Rep. Omar committed immigration fraud and tax fraud, Fox News host Tucker Carlson said.

“David Steinberg spent a decade as PJ Media’s New York editor. He has been closely investigating Ilhan Omar’s background for years since she entered public life,” he said.

“He’s cultivated sources within the Minnesota Somali community. He knows as much about Omar’s background as any reporter could know.

“Very few are interested, but he’s deeply interested and he should be. Just this morning, Steinberg released a piece on Power Line. In that piece he repeats the claim that Omar married her biological brother.”

“And then he makes this stunning allegation, sourced to members of the Minneapolis Somali community: ‘In 1995 Ilhan entered the United States as a fraudulent member of the Omar family. That is not her family.

“’The Omar family is a second unrelated family which was being granted asylum by the United States. The Omars allowed Ilhan, her genetic sister Sahra, and her genetic father Nur Said to use false names to apply for asylum as members of the Omar family.

“’Ilhan’s genetic family split up at this time. Ilhan’s three other siblings, using their real names, managed to get asylum in the United Kingdom.’”

“Steinberg goes on to say Ilhan’s brother was one of those three siblings and that she was later legally married to this man, her biological brother, from 2009 until 2017,” he said.

“It’s a shocking claim, so far it is unproven. Omar has denied the story, but she hasn’t disproven it. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Omar’s local newspaper responsible for a lot of fawning coverage about Omar, has tried to investigate the matter.

“They say they can neither confirm nor rebut the allegations. Omar is not participating. Last month, the paper noted that Omar has refused even to provide the full names of her immediate family. Let’s read that again, the paper revealed last month that Omar will not even reveal the names of her family.

“None of her relatives have come forward to comment on this, by the way. It is all bizarre, but it deserves to be investigated. There is far more smoke here than ever was for the idea that say, ‘the president colluded with Russia to rig the election.’ So, we’d like to know more,” he said.
