A player just claimed that those protesting our country by kneeling during the playing of our national anthem are just like 9/11 first responders.

So a spoiled, rotten brat football player protesting the national anthem is the same as those who risked their lives to save those hurt, injured or worse after the terrorist attacks on 9/11?

The real problem here was clearly defined some years ago by a famous author, Robert Heinlein:
