Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez-Stalin (D-NY) plans on launching a nation-wide tour to promote her Green New Deal proposal.
The Socialist millennial made the announcement via her official Twitter page Thursday.
“Let’s go: We’re starting a 15-city tour + a 50-State campaign, starting in early primary states, to build political and public support for a Green New Deal. – @sunrisemvmt#ThisIsWhatDemocracyLooksLike”

But apparently no one told AOC that jet-setting across the country might not be the best way to promote a plan that calls for the elimination of air travel in 10+ years.
Just a thought, kiddo.

From BPR:
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is launching a nationwide tour to promote her impractical Green New Deal.
But instead of an overwhelming celebration of the “15-city tour + a 50-State campaign,” many just wondered how the self-proclaimed Democratic socialist from New York planned to pull it off.
The freshman lawmaker tweeted an announcement of the tour Thursday, noting the Sunrise Movement which bills itself as “an army of young people” advocating political action on climate change. …
The tweet included a video promoting the progressive plan with a caption declaring: “The #GreenNewDeal is not just another climate policy … it is a call to redefine politics and establish a new social contract for America.”
But launching a 15-city tour while pushing legislation that calls for net-zero emissions while making air travel obsolete seems contradictory, and actually defies logic. …

Twitter instantly erupted in mockery over the 29-year-old’s cross-country tour:
Let’s travel around the country leaving a huge carbon footprint to promote doing the opposite. Brilliant!

I trust you will be transporting this entourage via “non-fossil fuel” powered methods, #OcasioCortez? If you aren’t then your whole proposal is hypocritical.

I hope you plan on walking or using high speed rails to get around the country. Bikes are ok, too 🚲

I hope you decide to ride a bike and a canoe to get around. @AOC . Oh, and not everyone wants to work. Some want a free ride on my dime , and that’s not cool.

I think bicycles would be OK?
Although, I don’t know how we’re going to manufacture them without Steel & Rubber?
Wooden bikes?

And of course the left jumped to her defense by trying to sound even more stupid than AOC does on a daily basis:

Being that @realDonaldTrump spends appropriately 14 million per weekly golf vacation I think we can swing something as important as educating citizens about saving the world 🌎. That might just be me being fancy though…

At least she HAS ideas. The Republican plan is the same as it’s always been, ignore decades of corroborated scientific fact and pretend climate change isn’t happening. How’s that been working so far?

It’s probably still smaller than the one from @realDonaldTrump 🏌🏼♂️
