As I See It: The Democrat Party Leadership and Many of Their Voters Have Gone Insane

As I see it the Democratic Party leadership and many of their voters and supporters have gone insane and not only embrace madness, they insist everyone else embrace it as well.

Democrats who once supported and cherished freedom of speech now claim words are dangerous and harmful and must be regulated and curtailed.

Democrats who once understood basic biology not only insist that there are multiple genders but insist everyone else believe it as well or be labeled a bigot.

Democrats who once pushed for the acceptance of LGBTQ people now demand we all embrace gender transition for kids in schools without the knowledge of parents, mandatory use of “preferred pronouns” and a refusal to see the obvious facts about trans athletes.

Democrats who once criticized law enforcement excesses now call for defunding, abolishing or “reimagining policing” at the expense of the very people they claim to champion.

Democrats who once called for affirmative action now support the insanity of “anti-racism” and critical race theory and openly call for discrimination against white people. Leftists will deem you a bigot for simply proclaiming that “all lives matter.”

Democrats who once understood the importance of borders to the survival of a nation have now destroyed border enforcement and opened our southern border almost completely.

Democrats once believed in equal opportunity for all but now want to bar Christians and those who hold traditional beliefs from public service.

Sadly this is but a short list, Democrats have gone completely mad and it has permeated and corrupted our government institutions, the education establishment, corporate America, the media, the sports world and more.

Even worse it all comes packaged with a rage that extends to anyone who refuses to go along with the insanity, let alone anyone who dares to dissent.

That is how I see it and while I am hopeful that in the long term the madness, which is unsustainable, will end don’t think it will end before enormous damage is done to the heart and soul of our nation.
