Disneyland, the former happiest place on earth, is once again in the news and not for a good reason.
A video has popped up online showing a cast member dressed as Minnie Mouse dancing in a rather suggestive manner with Mickey Mouse.

Disney, which used to be known for its commitment to family-friendly entertainment, claims to be looking into the incident. They claim to want to make sure the magical atmosphere they’re famous for remains untouched.

Sky News host, Rita Panahi, didn’t hold back, calling the video “Disney depravity.” For many, her reaction highlights how unexpected and out of character this moment was for the park.
It’s worth noting that Disneyland in Anaheim had a whopping 34,000 cast members last year. Each one of them has a big job: to keep the character they play authentic and true to its roots. So, this video has definitely raised some questions.
Quoting Panahi from her Sky News segment, she expressed her “shock at the footage.” And she’s not alone. Many fans are feeling the same way.
Disney Chief Iger Says It’s ‘Preposterous’ to Claim Disney Is Trying To Sexualize Children
Disney’s top man, CEO Bob Iger, is facing the heat of conservative concerns about the company’s content.

Responding directly to the criticism from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Iger refuted accusations that Disney is promoting the sexualization of children.
“The notion that Disney is in any way sexualizing children, quite frankly, is preposterous and inaccurate,” Iger said during a CNBC interview on Thursday.
This statement, though boldly confident, has critics questioning whether Iger is either out of touch with his company’s content or simply brushing aside the concerns.

Over the past year, Governor DeSantis has been quite vocal about his issues with Disney, a company he once regarded as an all-American establishment.
He has lamented the entertainment giant’s apparent shift towards a more progressive stance, often labeling the company as “woke”. His criticism reached a point where he pursued legal action against Disney.
In a New Hampshire town hall meeting in June, DeSantis underscored his position by accusing Disney of introducing “sexualized content” into children’s programming.

“They’ve really embraced the idea of getting the sexualized content in the programming for the young kids. And that is just a line that I am not willing to cross,” DeSantis stated firmly.
Disney’s leader, Bob Iger, who will continue his role as CEO until 2026, said he feels compelled to resist the legal offensive launched by DeSantis.
Iger expressed concern that DeSantis was retaliating against Disney due to a stance the company took on a controversial piece of legislation in Florida.

This bill, known as the “Don’t Say Gay” legislation, was aimed at preventing children from being exposed to information about sexual orientation and gender identity at a young age.
According to Iger, Disney’s response to the bill was not only about principle but also about protecting the business. “We have filed a lawsuit to protect our First Amendment rights there and to protect our business, frankly,” Iger stated.
This is epic, watch till end 😂.

Furthermore, Iger made a clear effort to distance Disney from the ongoing culture wars.
“The last thing that I want for the company is for the company to be drawn into any culture wars,” he said.
As conservatives continue to scrutinize the Disney content, it remains to be seen whether Iger’s responses will quell the rising tide of concern or if his assurances are seen as either misguided or disingenuous.
