Democrat Hypocrisy on Covid Restrictions Brutally Summed Up by a Single Cartoon

Democrats are known for their hypocrisy, it’s almost a signature part of their brand, but when it comes to hypocrisy over covid restrictions they’ve managed to take it to an entirely new level.

Increasingly tyrannical Democrat governors are issuing ever more draconian edicts for their resident while ignoring those same rules themselves.

They say a picture can be worth a thousand words so without further ado here is what Democrat hypocrisy on covid restrictions looks like to most of us brutally summed up by a single cartoon:

At the same time Democrats and some RINO Republicans keep moving the goalposts as to when the covid restrictions might end.

Moderna Top Doc Seemingly Sides With Rights Stealing Dems, Says Vaccine Might Not Stop Spread, No Changing of Behavior After

The chief medical officer at Moderna, Dr. Tal Zaks is seemingly siding with Democrats intent on crushing our rights and freedoms by saying that their is no proof their new vaccine will stop the spread of covid, and people should not change their behaviors, ie masks, social distancing, going to church, etc based solely on getting vaccinated.

Research has shown that the biotech firm’s shot is effective at preventing people from getting sick with COVID-19, but there’s no hard evidence that it stops them from carrying the virus “transiently” and potentially infecting others who haven’t been vaccinated, according to Dr. Tal Zaks, Moderna’s chief medical officer.

“I think we need to be careful, as we get vaccinated, not to over-interpret the results,” Zaks told Axios in a TV interview released Monday. “When we start the deployment of this vaccine, we will not have sufficient concrete data to prove that this vaccine reduces transmission.”

“Do I believe that it reduces transmission? Absolutely yes, and I say this because of the science,” he added. “But absent proof, I think it’s important that we don’t change behaviors solely on the basis of vaccination.”

This is once again another attempt to move the goal posts and get Americans to comply with the increasingly dictatorial edicts of the nation’s governors.

First it was 14 days to slow the spread, now it’s been 8 months and no relief is in sight.

It is past time for Americans to stand up, and say hell no, we won’t take this any more.

If all, or a majority of us refuse to comply with the increasing number of arbitrary covid rules there will be nothing any governor will be able to do.

John Hinderaker of Powerline Blog hits the nail on the head with his excellent analysis as to what the real problem is with the current set of covid related rules and regulations:

“The real significance of politicians flouting their own rules is that it shows they know those rules are unnecessary or useless. Take the case of Governor Newsom’s ritzy dinner. Newsom’s guests included the CEO of the California Medical Association, as well as that group’s senior vice president and head lobbyist. If these people–privy to all the latest scientific information!–actually believed that COVID is a deadly disease for people in normal health, and wearing masks indoors while social distancing and associating only with one’s immediate family would protect them from contracting it, you can be sure they would not have joined in the scofflaw dinner at the French Laundry. Not to protect you, but to protect themselves.

But they obviously don’t believe those things. Actions speak louder than words. The fact that our political leaders and other members of the alleged elite consistently flout the rules they lay down for the rest of us shows that they know those rules are bullshit. And if those rules don’t protect them, they don’t protect us either. That is the real point, more than the hypocrisy that is so obvious.”

Our political “leaders” know the rules are bullshit, it’s why they refuse to follow them themselves.
