When organizers decided it would be a great show of solidarity with the western world to have a Muslim March for Peace, they said that as many as 10,000 people would show up.
They wanted to prove that Islam is a “religion of peace” that did not condone terrorism.
But as they gathered to begin their march in Cologne, Germany, they were sorely disappointed that only “several hundred” showed up for the march – not 10,000.

ABC news reported that eventually, as many as 1,000 showed up for the march. They waved signs that read “Hatred makes the earth Hell” and “Together against terror.”
Believe it or not, Muslim groups actually boycotted the march, saying that it would give people the impression that “international terrorism is mainly a Muslim problem.”
Gee, I wonder why people would think that.
“Calls for ‘Muslim’ anti-terror demos fall too short, stigmatize Muslims, and constrict international terrorism to being just among them, and within their communities and mosques,” Germany’s largest Muslim organization, Ditib, said in a statement. “We welcome public action, but reject the way in which this march has been organized,”
The left was so certain that there would be thousands in the streets that they actually stated it as a fact before it even started.

“Muslims always stand up against terrorism,” said one attendee, “but it’s not covered in mainstream media, mostly, they focus on those people who commit the terrorism, who commit the murders.”
