The battle lines within the Republican party are being drawn in the House, with Breitbart reporting that “more than half of the House Republican Conference has committed to vote to remove Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) as the chair of the House GOP Conference.” The report states that “the effort would involve a secret ballot vote to remove Cheney as the chair of the House GOP Conference.”
Cheney put herself on the list of “persona non grata” in the Republican party after she lead ten Republicans in a vote to impeach President Trump for the second time. Juliegrace Brufke, from the Hill, reports that a friendly GOP aide claims that “more than 115 House Republicans support the effort to express no confidence in Cheney’s leadership of the House Republican Conference.”
Rep. Liz. Cheney, the third-ranking Republican in the House, is the daughter of infamous Republican Vice President Dick Cheney. “Republicans believe that [Liz Cheney] should step aside voluntarily to avoid further embarrassment to the conference,” the report states.

Reportedly, Republicans have tapped New York Representatives and long time Trump supporters Elise Stefanik and Lee Zeldin as possible replacements. Rep. Elise Stefanik proved herself in the first round of House impeachment trials, and she would be my pick between the two New Yorkers.
I would say Stefanik gets a ‘B+’ in the swamp department. She generally supports all ‘America First’ policies, but she did vote to override Trump’s veto for the NDAA that saw BILLIONS of tax-payer dollars go overseas, among other similar issues. Once she reins in the unnecessary spending, she will be a solid ‘A.’

Rep. Andy Biggs from Arizona and Rep. Matt Rosendale from Montana were two of the first to call for Rep. Cheney to step down from her leadership position. “The movement quickly grew from Republicans across the political spectrum, including those in leadership, such as Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee,” reports Breitbart.
Rep. Cheney is facing an almost guaranteed censure in her home state of Wyoming as one county, Carbon County, has already unanimously voted to censure the representative for failing to accurately represent her constituents in one of the most important votes of her political career. The resolution stated: “Representative Cheney has violated the trust of her voters, failed to faithfully represent a very large majority of motivated Wyoming voters, and neglected her duty to represent the party and the will of the people who elected her to represent them.”

Now Breitbart reports that “more than half” the members of the U.S. House of Representatives “have committed to the growing movement to censure” Rep. Cheney. Rep. Good said in a statement last week that “Congresswoman Liz Cheney, the Republican Conference Chair advocating for the impeachment of the leader of the Republican party, while not communicating her intentions with conference members before the media, weakens our party at a critical time while we are in the minority.”
He continued saying,” Her decision to impeach the president does not represent the majority of our conference. It has only served to become a Democrat talking point to be used against our party during this impeachment debate. Leadership is a privilege and carries great responsibility. I believe that privilege has been violated, and I am calling for her to step down as Republican Conference Chair.”
This is exactly what the Trump voter wants to see from the Republican party. If you don’t want to watch us break off and start a viable third party, then those in power need to censure the Republicans that fall out of line. We are ‘America First.’
There are no short cuts to protecting our republic. We are in a battle to save our country, and it is time for these elected officials to decide to either help our mission or we will remove you from our party. Period.
