Representative Tim Burchett (R-TN), a veteran member of a House committee dedicated to investigating unidentified flying objects (UFOs), has an inside track on information that is otherwise inaccessible to the general public.
His role has led him to attend confidential briefings and garner knowledge that eludes the average American.
During his recent appearance on the “Event Horizon” podcast, Burchett imparted some startling insights.

He argued, “We’ve been dealing [with government coverups] since 1947, probably since about 1897 in what was the Aurora Texas ‘UFO crash.’”
He also brought attention to the advanced abilities of the unidentified crafts, stating, “They [the craft] can travel light years or at the speeds that we’ve seen defy physics as we know it.”

He further highlighted their peculiar features such as their capability to “fly underwater and don’t show a heat trail.”

Burchett candidly expressed his views about the apparent superiority of the unknown crafts, conceding, “We are out of our league… We couldn’t fight them off what we wanted to. That’s why I don’t think they’re a threat to us, or they would already have been.”
This admission, although unsettling, brings some relief.
The Tennessee Congressman stressed the need for government transparency regarding the UFO phenomenon.

He urged, “We don’t need to fund anybody anymore. Let’s just turn loose the reports, quit with the redacted reports that look like Swiss cheese with everything whited out or blacked out, and just give us all the information and let the American public decide.”
In his plea for honesty, Burchett emphasized the ability of Americans to handle the truth.
“We can handle it. Stop with the arrogance. Stop with the corruption. Let’s get it all out there,” he declared on the podcast.

Earlier this year, Burchett proposed that the U.S. might be engaged in reverse-engineering the technology found in these crafts, though our understanding of how it functions is still lacking.
He firmly believes that the U.S. has, at some point, “recovered a craft and possible beings.”
His statements came on the heels of whistleblower testimony regarding covert UFO programs.

One such whistleblower is David Charles Grusch, a former combat officer and veteran of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the National Reconnaissance Office.
Grusch recently revealed that he provided Congress with classified data about clandestine government programs which, he alleges, have secured an intact, non-human craft.
Grusch’s narrative aligns with Burchett’s call for transparency.
He alleged that this information was unlawfully withheld from Congress and claimed to have faced illegal retaliation for his confidential disclosures, according to The Debrief.

Adding to the intrigue, Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) recently confessed that he has seen evidence of unknown crafts.
Matt Gaetz announced Congress will be investigating the “threat level” posed by UFOs.

“I have seen evidence of craft that I am not familiar with any of our allies or adversaries or even our country possessing,” Gaetz told Newsmax.

In the face of these revelations, it seems that either the lawmakers are privy to extraordinary encounters with extraterrestrial life or, perhaps less dramatically, they are simply fond of sharing their thoughts.
One thing is clear though: The demand for transparency about UFO phenomena, and the alleged government cover-ups surrounding it, is gaining traction within the halls of Congress.
