While the media and liberals have long pointed the finger at Russia as the culprit for the hacking of the DNC servers last year, there is evidence coming out that the hacking may have been an “inside job.”
Democratic National Committee Staffer Seth Rich was gunned down in Washington’s Bloomingdale neighborhood last July – and there was no known motive. Police stated that it was a botched robbery attempt.

But now, evidence is coming to light that Rich may have been the source feeding secret DNC information to WikiLeaks.

A federal investigator who has reviewed the evidence also combed through the contents of Rich’s computer for the four days after his murder. He said that Rich made contact with WikiLeaks through Gavin MacFadyen, a now-deceased American investigative reporter, documentary filmmaker, and director of WikiLeaks who was living in London at the time, Fox News is reporting.
“I have seen and read the emails between Seth Rich and Wikileaks,” the federal investigator told Fox News, confirming the MacFadyen connection. He said the emails are in possession of the FBI, while the stalled case is in the hands of the Washington D.C. Police Department.

This information is consistent with what Rod Wheeler found. He is a former DC homicide detective and Fox News contributor. His investigation firm was hired by Rich’s family to probe the case. Rich was not robbed, only shot from behind in the early morning hours.
“My investigation up to this point shows there was some degree of email exchange between Seth Rich and Wikileaks,” Wheeler said. “I do believe that the answers to who murdered Seth Rich sits on his computer on a shelf at the DC police or FBI headquarters.”
Speaking to the FOX Washington affiliate, Wheeler said: “I have a source inside the police department that has looked at me straight in the eye and said, ‘Rod, we were told to stand down on this case and I can’t share any information with you.’ Now, that is highly unusual for a murder investigation, especially from a police department. Again, I don’t think it comes from the chief’s office, but I do believe there is a correlation between the mayor’s office and the DNC and that is the information that will come out [Tuesday].

The DC Police denied to Fox News that they were instructed to “stand down” regarding the Rich case.
