Dr. Scott Atlas, Top Trump Covid-19 Adviser, Had Tweet Removed For Saying Masks Don't Work

The Big Tech crackdown has been going on for years, but these companies are getting more brazen with their censorship. NBC reported that over the weekend, one of President Trump’s top Covid advisers, Dr. Scott Atlas, was locked out of his account for tweeting about the efficacy of masks.

From NBC:

“The tweet in question, posted Saturday by Dr. Scott Atlas, read: ‘Masks work? NO: LA, Miami, Hawaii, Alabama, France, Phlippnes, UK, Spain, Israel. WHO:’widesprd use not supported’ + many harms; Heneghan/Oxf CEBM:’despite decades, considerble uncertainty re value’; CDC rvw May:’no sig red’n in inflnz transm’n’; learn why.'”

Twitter says that they deleted the tweet for violating their policy against sharing false and harmful information about the coronavirus. The reality is that Twitter censored this tweet because he is part of the Trump administration and, therefore, doesn’t get to have free speech on their platform.

The efficacy of masks is debated daily between scientists, doctors, and private citizens.

Those opposed to masks mainly wonder whether a thin piece of cloth that can’t block the particles of a sneeze can be an effective defense against a disease with a tiny micron make up.

Those for masks seem to take an approach of blind acceptance to groupthink.

This isn’t a debate on whether masks work, but instead whether the left actually “believes in scientists” as they tell us they do. Instead of being able to do their job, doctors, like Dr. Atlas, are forced to fight a nonstop assault by media and liberal DNC operatives disguised as “health experts.”

These assaults come because Dr. Atlas has the audacity to give the American people all the facts and allows them to determine their own procedures for protecting their health.

The Democrats insist they be allowed to take over every aspect of our lives; for our safety. We’ve seen what happens when Democrats are given total control in cities like Portland, Seattle, San Fransisco, or NYC.

Americans don’t deserve the destruction Democrats will bring if they are given control over everyone’s personal health choices.

Five days ago, Dr. Atlas tweeted that “lockdowns are a luxury of the rich.” The effects of the current or continuing lockdowns won’t be seen by the coastal elites whose wealth has likely grown during this pandemic. “It is the working class and the poor whose lives are destroyed by prolonged lockdowns,” he said.

The leftist elites showed their destain for the working class as it was on full display in the 2016 elections. The corruption uncovered on Hunter Biden’s laptop further proves that the left celebrates selling America jobs to China for personal gain and that your well-being is the farthest thing from their minds.

The polarizing mask debate will likely never be settled between the two sides. Coronavirus spikes are happening all over the world regardless of mask mandates that may be in place. This isn’t even about the legality of mask mandates or whether masks work; this is about censorship.

Our country should be less worried about someone’s personal opinion on masks and more concerned about big tech’s ability to censor a medical professional giving his personal view.

You don’t get to be “pro-science” if you are perfectly fine with Twitter and other big tech companies censoring scientists, like Dr. Atlas, that do not align with their groupthink.
