The list of dump anything Trump and his supporters is getting so long it is getting hard to keep track. Add to it New York City.
Mayor Bill de Blasio said Wednesday New York City will sever three contracts with the Trump Organization, accusing President Trump of inciting the crowds that stormed the U.S. Capitol last week.
“The president incited a rebellion against the United States government that killed five people and threatened to derail the constitutional transfer of power,” de Blasio said in a statement. “The city of New York will not be associated with those unforgivable acts in any shape, way or form.”

On Jan. 6, the President addressed hundreds of thousands of supporters, outlining in detail his claims that the election was stolen. He encouraged them to march to the Capitol where Congress was preparing to vote on the certification of the electoral votes, ultimately declaring Joe Biden the next President of the United States.
What followed was less than 200 of the 200,000 plus protestors storming the Capitol, wreaking havoc and left five people dead including a Capitol police officer.

A criminal investigation is underway and charges have been filed against dozens of people suspected of having taken part.
On MSNBC’s Morning Joe, de Blasio announced, “The city of New York is severing all contracts with the Trump organization. Our legal team has done an assessment, and the contracts make very clear, if a company, the leadership of that company is engaged in criminal activity, we have a right to sever the contract. Inciting an insurrection, let’s be clear, I’ll say these words again, inciting an insurrection against the United States government clearly constitutes criminal activity. So the city of New York will no longer have anything to do with the Trump organization. They have profited from these contracts. They will profit no longer.”

The New York-based Trump Organization’s contracts to operate a carousel in Manhattan’s Central Park, skating rinks and a golf course in the Bronx are worth about $17 million a year, de Blasio said.
Doubling down on portraying the President as a criminal de Blasio went on to say, “The President of the United States directed a mob to attack the U.S. Congress during the Electoral College vote… it’s criminal activity.”
De Blasio expects push back from the Trump organization but he is confident he will prevail.
“Of course we know the history of the Trump organization. They will likely challenge us in court,” de Balsio said. “But we’re on strong legal ground. We’re very clear about that.”

De Blasio expects to see a “domino effect because of the president aiding and abetting an insurrection.”
The “domino effect” started immediately after the riot at the Capitol with Trump being permanently removed from Facebook and Twitter followed by conservative social media platform Parler getting destroyed by large tech. Other companies have followed suit either cutting off Trump and his supporters including Shopify, Stripe, Reddit, Snapchat, Twitch, American Express, Mastercard, Morgan Stanley, AT&T, Dow Chemical, and Blue Cross.
In addition, the New York Times reported on Tuesday that Deutsche Bank DBKGn.DE will not do business in the future with Trump or his companies.
It is unprecedented and incredible the lengths Dems and big business are willing to go to stifle the conservatives in America.
