One of the primary fears for many Americans should former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris manage to take the White House is the very real possibility that radical progressivism will be the new norm in America’s institutions of government power.
That’s especially realistic given how Biden has already pledged to work with radical leftists like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Ilhan Omar and the rest of the “Squad” on a number of progressive legislative proposals like the “Green New Deal” and the absurd idea that police departments should be defunded.
But according to BizPac Review, it might not be as easy for the radical leftist elements in Congress to move forward on their ideas because during a recent private House Democratic Caucus meeting Thursday, grave concerns were expressed by moderate Democrats over the idea of moving America too far left.

Rep. Abigail Spanberger, a moderate Democrat was the first to express concerns over the party’s ultra-left agenda, first by slamming some of her colleagues for pushing the “defund the police” movement over the summer of 2020, a message that a majority of Americans did not agree with, party politics aside.
Spanberger held nothing back as she warned her colleagues that “no one should say ‘defund the police’ ever again” while adding that “nobody should be talking about socialism.” Even better, she warned her party that if they continue down that route, Democrats will “get f–ing torn apart” in 2022.

And she’s dead-on accurate, as Americans will most certainly not stand for such radicalism and will undoubtedly make their voices heard in the midterm elections. All one has to do is refer to the conservative voter revolution that took place in 2010 thanks to the Tea Party — an outcome that still haunts Democrats to this day.
In a refreshing and rare moment of self-reflection for her party, Spanberger suggested that the party focus on the various attack angles that Republicans successfully managed to use against them in the run up to the 2020 election, where the anticipated “blue wave” fell completely flat — at least in the House.

“This is about me recognizing that we lost members who we shouldn’t have lost. I would request that at some point in the future, we spend time watching the attack ads … that we look at the things that they say about us, that they say about the Democrats, that they say about the way we talk to people and the way we talk about things,” Spanberger said.
Not surprisingly, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and members of the “Squad” were not thrilled with Spanberger’s warning about dialing down the radical progressive ideologies.
“Don’t blame myself and others who are fighting for issues that matter to our communities,” Rep. Rashida Tlaib said.
While I sincerely hope America isn’t radically transformed over the next two years, part of me would be willing to make the sacrifice with the hopes that conservatives — and moderates — will strike back in the 2022 midterms and flip the House red again.
We truly have some very interesting and possibly scary times ahead of us if these radical leftists are finally able to wield their legislative power unchecked.
