Celebrities have been at the tip of the spear of the anti-Trump resistance and are such narcissists that they are giving their own State of the Union address this year.
Perhaps one of the biggest yet unacknowledged problems with American society is the unwarranted importance placed upon what pampered and privileged celebrities think.
It can be reasonably argued that in lieu of an actual leader that the Democratic party is represented by the noisy leftist cranks who were deprived of being guests at swanky affairs in the Clinton White House. They will never admit it, but that is what is really eating many of them.

The latest collective shaking of the fist at President Trump will be an alternate State of the Union headed up by Mark Ruffalo who plays the Incredible Hulk in the Avengers movies. He will be joined by an array of freaks including Alyssa Milano, Michael Moore, and Whoopi Goldberg at the “People’s State of the Union” in New York on Monday.
It is being hosted by a number of Democrat front groups including MoveOn.org.

A cabal of Hollywood elites, progressive groups and social activists are planning a “People’s State of the Union” as a “public alternative” on the eve of President Donald Trump’s first State of the Union address.
Notable participants in Monday’s scheduled event in New York City include filmmaker Michael Moore, actors Mark Ruffalo, Alyssa Milano, Rosie Perez and Whoopi Goldberg.
They’ll congregate at the Town Hall in Manhattan, the venue where suffragists met in the 1920s. Singer Andra Day and rapper Common will be performing the song, “Stand Up for Something,” from the biopic film “Marshall,” about the late Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.
Tickets were still available Saturday at $47 each.
It will also be live-streamed to the liberal twits who still refuse to get a life and accept that they lost the election.

Ruffalo spoke with People Magazine about this ridiculous temper tantrum:
“In essence,” Ruffalo tells PEOPLE of the event, “it’s a better reflection of our state of the union based on a more populist point of view, based on the people’s point of view. I think it’s important because we have a president who has a difficult time with the truth, who has a radical, divisive agenda, and spends an enormous amount of time focusing on the negative and hopelessness and despair.”
“We want to celebrate this moment that we’re in of what is now probably one of the most influential and powerful and really beautiful movements to come into play in the United States since the civil rights movement,” Ruffalo explains, going on to describe the event as “a celebration of the power and the beauty of this movement, but also of our accomplishments and to focus on what’s to come in the immediate future.”
Frumpy dumpy propagandist Michael Moore rallied the so-called resistance by calling Trump a “threat to humanity” in a missive that he sent out to promote the event as well as to fundraise for MoveOn.org.

Dear fellow MoveOn member,
Donald J. Trump has proven himself to be completely unfit for office, a threat to our country, and an imminent danger to the world. He is not well; he is a malignant narcissist and an active sociopath. And because he holds the codes to fire nuclear weapons, he is a singular threat to humanity.
This situation is a nightmare. And the only reason that things aren’t FAR WORSE than they already are is that millions of us have come together to engage in our democracy, resist, and organize.
But our problems go far beyond one sociopath president. The mission that we are on and the work that we must do is to tear down the rigged system that produced Trump in the first place. We must imagine the America that we want to live in. We must create the post-Trump America.

There is something very hypocritical about a man who has gotten rich by making anti-capitalist movies but hypocrisy is the coin of the realm with these celebs.
On the positive side, one can surmise that with three different SOTU rebuttals that the Democratic party is already beginning to fracture.
Moonbat Maxine Waters will appear on Black Entertainment Television to spew racial demagoguery and in a surprise pick the official party response will be given by lily-white Rep. Joe Kennedy. This is hardly consistent with the identity grievance politics preached by the Dems because Kennedy is Dem establishment to the bone.
When the Democrats do implode a lot of credit can be given to the celebrities who may be adored by liberals and low-information types but in reality, they are a huge turnoff to mainstream America.
