South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, one of President Donald Trump’s top allies in the Senate, had a message for Trump’s legal team this week as they continue to try and prove allegations of voter and ballot fraud.
According to Newsmax, Graham offered his continued support for Trump’s lawyers but held nothing back when he urged them to “prove” their cases in court.
“Keep fighting Mr. President,” he added. “Make your case in court and just fight as hard as you can…” Graham said in an interview Wednesday with Fox News’ Martha MacCallum.

Grham then turned his attention to the lawyers representing Trump, offering sage advice that many of Trump’s supporters are probably thinking but too hesitant to say it publicly.
“To the Trump legal team: You’re making all these claims … you gotta prove it. Doing a video is not proof. You need to take these claims into a court of law and get relief,” Graham said.

The video he referenced was the pre-recorded, 46-minute long video Trump posted on social media Wednesday night, in which he continues to hold steady to his beliefs that the 2020 election was rigged, stolen and that he thinks widespread voter fraud took place in the key battleground states needed to secure a victory on November 3.
“It’s a widely known fact that the voting rolls are packed with people who are not lawfully eligible to vote, including those who are deceased, have moved out of their state, and even are non-citizens of our country,” Trump said in the video. “Beyond this the records are riddled with errors, wrong addresses, and many other issues. This is not disputed. It has never been disputed.”

Trump announced the pre-recorded speech as “the most important speech” of his presidency and suggested that the U.S. voting system in 2020 fell victim to “coordinated assault and siege.”
Not surprisingly, Graham’s comments that Trump’s legal team needs to “prove” their cases drew some criticism from some Trump supporters — similar to when they hammered Fox News’ Tucker Carlson after he questioned if Sidney Powell — a lawyer fighting for Trump but not affiliated formally with his legal team — had the monumental evidence required and ability to prove that enough widespread fraud took place to convince a judge to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
To be honest, those are fair questions. I realize some people don’t believe so and I respect their opinion. But three weeks have passed since the election and the clock is literally ticking away. Time is not on the side of Trump’s lawyers or anyone else fighting for him. If a stand is to be made, it needs to be made soon, and again, I believe it’s completely fair game to demand that.
For weeks, we’ve heard a number of press conferences and makeshift “hearings” at which mountains of allegations are made that fraudulent activities took place en masse, but so far, Trump’s legal team has only managed to secure a very small number of what might be considered “victories” — let alone anything significant enough to overturn the results of a state’s election totals.
