More fun times this weekend in the left-wing paradise known as Chicago, Illinois.
In one of the most gun-controlled spots in the United States of America forty seven people were shot over the weekend, including thirteen who were shot in just five hours.

“At least 47 people were shot in Chicago over the weekend, 13 of them in just five hours late Sunday and early Monday.
An 11-year-old girl was shot in the leg in the Auburn Gresham area just after midnight Monday. Ten minutes later, a woman and two teens, 16 and 17, were wounded about half a mile away, according to Chicago police.

Five people were wounded in a mass shooting Friday evening when a gunman opened fire in a parking lot in the 3000 block of South Rhodes Avenue.
Most of the shooting victims, 28 of them, were wounded on the South Side. Twelve people were wounded on the West Side, while five people were hurt on the Southwest Side. West Town and River North each had one shooting victim.”

This weekends shooting toll is higher than the prior weekend in Chicago when only 37 people were shot with 7 killed. It appears that on both weekends the South Side of Chicago had the highest number of shootings.
This just shows that gun control laws are mostly useless as criminals pay no attention to the law.
It also clearly shows that cities run by Democrats are increasingly becoming very dangerous places to live and visit.
The last Republican Mayor of Chicago was William Hale Thompson who left office in 1931 so everything that happens in Chicago is 100% on Democrats.
When will the people of Chicago wake up and finally throw the corrupt an ineffective Democrats out of office?

Maybe then, if a Republican becomes Mayor, city leaders will take Ted Cruz’s advice and put their focus on going after the bad guys, instead of the guns:
