Once again MSNBC host Tiffany Cross shows us just how disconnected she and her guests are from reality.
During this segment Cross claims people don’t want to get monkeypox because of vanity reasons whereas during the height of covid, which could kill you, people took all kinds of risks without thought.
Cross’s guest also tries her best to get the few viewers of the show to think we’re all at risk for monkeypox and it’s really important not to stigmatize one group of people over this disease. She also claims that monkey pox is a respiratory infection even though in the same sentence says there is no clear scientific evidence that this is the case.

CROSS: I want to get into some of the disinformation, misinformation that’s been floating around out there [about monkeypox]. For starters, I just found the reaction very interesting by people I know and in my orbit because you know, covid could literally kill you, especially before there was a vaccine and people were willing to risk it all, but you talk about monkeypox and pimples on my face, way, way, way timeout, how do we get ahead of this? Then there’s a vanity component to people really not wanting to get this. How exactly is monkeypox spread?

GUEST: So monkeypox is spread by direct, physical contact. Either with somebody who was actively infected or, contact with bedding, contact with clothing, contact with an object. We call that fomite transmission of a person who has been infected. Monkeypox can be spread through respiratory droplets, but we do not have clear scientific evidence that monkeypox is spread by aerosols. Meaning that it is an airborne infection. So the best way for people to continue to protect themselves is to think about when you are having direct, physical contact with. skin to skin contact, hugging, kissing, cuddling, massaging, and inclusive of sex. All types of sex, oral, anal, vaginal and it’s really important as you mention that we don’t stigmatize one group, but that we recognize where risk has congregated and in which communities and that we get information out to those people. So no it is not just men who have sex with men or people who identify as gay who are susceptible to monkeypox. If you have that prolonged skin to skin contact with someone who is infected you too could actually get monkeypox.
These people are nuts and the reason why monkeypox is still spreading in this country and other parts of the world.

Rather than say straight up that in the USA at the moment the gay community is most at risk and should abstain a while with strangers the health authorities and the media pretend it is otherwise.
The vast majority of us are at very little risk of contracting monkeypox whereas members of the gay community who have sex with strangers are at higher risk.
That is the bottom line truth and why so many are afraid to say it is baffling to me.
Just goes to show that political correctness and “wokeness” kills and should be eliminated from our culture.
