NYPD The New Gestapo? People Getting Arrested in NYC for Failing to Show Vaccine Cards

New York City is quickly becoming a totalitarian police state as officers have begun enforcing Mayor De Blasio’s draconian vaccine mandate, upsetting many citizens.

The mandate requires everyone over the age of 12 to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to utilize indoor spaces including restaurants, music venues, theaters, gyms, and other indoor public spaces. Children ages 5 to 11 are required to show proof of one vaccine dose. However, starting Wednesday the rule will require these children to be fully vaccinated to patronize indoor spaces.

Many New Yorkers have started peacefully protesting the mandate, but unlike the “peaceful” BLM protests and subsequent riots, NYPD is actually arresting violators for trespassing.

One avid protester, 41-year-old Mitchell Bosch, has three times this month during protests at a Cheesecake Factory, Applebee’s and on Monday he was one of five arrested at Burger King, the New York Post reports.

On December 14, about 40 protesters entered the Queens Center Mall Cheesecake Factory restaurant and refused to show proof of vaccination. Bosch was one of six people arrested in the incident. All six were charged with criminal trespass.

The following day, Bosch returned to the same mall, this time entering Applebee’s to continue his protest of the vaccine mandate. Again Bosch was arrested for criminal trespass.

Bosch was issued desk appearance tickets in both ordeals.

On Monday night, five people were arrested when protesters stormed a Burger King in downtown Brooklyn to protest the mandate.

The protesters were caught on film screaming at Burger King employees fro refusing them service. Police said they were called after the protesters refused to leave.

Bystanders were also filmed shouting “shame on you” at the officers as several of the protesters were handcuffed.

Others screamed that they had done nothing wrong and were not criminals.

In another video that has gone viral, police bring a 5-year-old boy to tears at a New York City restaurant, telling his mother they have to leave because they do not have their proof of vaccination.

The family, had been seated at a table in the restaurant when they were surrounded by NYPD officers.

One officer tells the family “You don’t have the card? If you don’t have it, then you’ll have to leave.”

Police also told the boy’s mother without proof of vaccination they could be charged with trespassing.

“If you leave voluntarily, there will not be charges pressed against you; otherwise you will be arrested for trespass. This is your only warning,” the officer said.

The incident angered bystanders who began yelling at the officers.

“Scaring a child, traumatizing a child. I hope you feel good about yourself, NYPD,” a woman says. “This is disgusting. This is gross.”

Another bystander videoing the incident yells out, “Is this what you signed up for? Is this what justice looks like?”

The woman continues, “Is this what you dreamed of when you wanted to be a cop?”

It is downright scary what is happening in this country. Where do officers draw the line? Is it ok for them to decline enforcing some laws that are clearly unconstitutional, dictatorial mandates?

American’s will have to decide if they are willing to settle for “show me your papers” to exercise their right to be in public spaces and places. What will you do?
