In a furious last-ditch effort to prevent the release of incendiary House Intel memo, all stops are being pulled out to quash what will surely be a devastating blow to Democrats and their allies and FBI Director Christopher Wray could be their last line of defense.
On Monday, the committee voted to send the four-page document detailing FISA abuses at the FBI to President Trump per appropriate procedures to declassify material. Trump has reviewed the memo and it is expected to be released to the public sometime on Friday.

It is still possible that the guardians of corruption will be able to suppress the memo and according to reports, FBI Director Christopher Wray may be prepared to resign if the memo gets released. At least this is what some in the White House are alleged to believe could be the case.
This according to CNN which has provided a forum for many of those who could be badly burned by the memo including Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff who represents Hollywood and has based his entire witch hunt on the dubious Fusion GPS memo.

Top White House aides are worried FBI Director Christopher Wray could quit if the highly controversial Republican memo alleging the FBI abused its surveillance tools is released, multiple sources with knowledge of the situation tell CNN.
Wray has made clear he is frustrated that President Donald Trump picked him to lead the FBI after he fired FBI Director James Comey in May, yet his advice on the Nunes memo is being disregarded and cast as part of the purported partisan leadership of the FBI, according to a senior law enforcement official.
Wray’s stance is “raising hell,” one source familiar with the matter said.
Wray has not directly threatened to resign after clashing with Trump over the possible release of the memo, the source added, because that is not his style of dealing with conflict.

One person briefed on the matter said the White House believes that redactions could cure the problem, given the White House plan is to approve the release of the memo and leave it up to Nunes’ committee to officially release the document. But it is not clear redactions will be enough to satisfy concerns at the FBI, according to other officials, because their concerns are that substantial omissions make the document inaccurate, which is something redactions won’t address.
One thing to keep in mind is that this IS CNN and the story is based on “multiple sources with knowledge of the situation” or just more of the same anonymous sources that are cited in EVERY anti-Trump story.
There is the chance that the memo will be redacted into being virtually useless but other reports indicated that is not Trump’s intention although the pressure to cover up what could come to be known as Obamagate is intense and shows no signs of letting up.
The Wray resignation has now become a talking point with those seeking to obstruct the release of the memo. He also reportedly threatened to resign if dirty former Deputy Director Andrew “Andy” McCabe was fired. McCabe was unexpectedly ousted earlier this week.

Trump made it a point on Friday morning supporting the dedicated rank and file personnel at FBI-DOJ and made it clear that the problem was with the leadership.
The top Leadership and Investigators of the FBI and the Justice Department have politicized the sacred investigative process in favor of Democrats and against Republicans – something which would have been unthinkable just a short time ago. Rank & File are great people!

Whether Wray will resign is unknown but if he does, perhaps he wasn’t the right man for the job in the first place.
