Remember Biden and Dems claiming Russian interference in elections during the 2020 campaign? Biden had plenty of strong words to say about the “bully” and how he would manage Putin if elected.
“Folks, you hear the news? Once again, Putin and the Russians are trying to engage in our elections and decide who the president is going to be,” Biden said. “This time I’m the object of their attention.”
It is easy to believe that Putin would want Biden to win the presidency as he proved under Obama to be weak and diplomacy based with no muscle behind it allowing for Putin to pursue his plans of returning to the Soviet Union days.

Biden went on pounding his chest, “Because Putin knows, if I am President of the United States, his days of tyranny and trying to intimidate the United States and those in Eastern Europe are over.”
It is fair to say that Putin has far exceeded “intimidation” considering Russia is engaged in an all out war with Ukraine which they are days away from winning.

“I’m going to stand up to him. He’s a bully, just like the president,” Biden said.
Yes, that terrible “bully” Trump who had not one new war during his presidency, not to mention Putin making not one move in Europe after its annexation of Crimea during the Obama administration where good old Joe was Vice President.

“And I know he doesn’t want me to be president, but to tell you what, when I’m president, things are going to change,” Biden concluded.
There is no doubt things have changed dramatically and for the worse. Putin will take over Ukraine in the next few days according to almost every military leader and political pundit worldwide. There is also great speculation that he will not stop there.
Secretary of State Blinken commented on CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell. O’Donnell asked if the U.S. had any specific intelligence pointing to Putin advancing beyond Ukraine, Blinken asserted that the answer was obvious.
“You don’t need intelligence to tell you that that’s exactly what President Putin wants,” Blinken said. “He’s made clear that he’d like to reconstitute the Soviet empire. Short of that, he’d like to reassert a sphere of influence around neighboring countries that were once part of the Soviet bloc. And short of that, he’d like to make sure that all of these countries are somehow neutral.”

The United States has been sending troops and weapons to Europe for several weeks as the situation with Ukraine has unfolded in the event that Putin invades a country protected by NATO.
Given that tough talking Biden has only issued ineffective sanctions that have done absolutely nothing to deter Putin or put the hurt on Russia, it is impossible to know whether he would actually use the forces he has sent or let those countries fall like Ukraine.
