On the Sunday evening broadcast of The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton on Fox, Rep. Matt Gaetz was asked to comment on the future of the Republican party as well as the Republican infighting. Gaetz, who seems to have learned some showmanship tricks from President Trump, announced to the host, “After ‘The Art of the Deal’ comes ‘The Art of the Comeback.”
Rep. Matt Gaetz said that he believes “that the future of the GOP is another candidacy for President Trump in 2024.” Gaetz claimed to have “spent a couple of hours with the 45th President.” Rep. Gaetz described President Trump, saying that Trump “has a focus and a fighting spirit that is totally in line with the level of dedication and patriotism he had while he served as president of the United States.

Gaetz said that Trump was “talking absolutely, like a candidate.”
Rep. Gaetz earned his “Firebrand” title by blowing up any semblance of unity within the Republican establishment wing of the party. Gaetz claims that its “establishment Republicans” that “wants to go back to the forever wars, bad trade deals and the caravans crashing across our borders.”

The Republican Congressman said that “there are a whole lot of [establishment Republicans] inside the 8 square miles of Washington D.C.” He cited the evidence that Liz Cheney is still the spokesperson for the House Republican Caucus and those Representatives like Nancy Mace who encourage other Republicans to support that wing of the party.
Rep. Gaetz said, “This isn’t a personal critique of either of those folks, but it certainly does demonstrate that there is the ‘America-first,” pro-Trump wing of the party, and there is the establishment wing of the party and the establishment wants their power back.”

The most powerful Republican in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, has come out against President Trump and those that support him. Nikki Haley, Lindsey Graham, Adam Kinzinger, Susan Collins, and Mitt Romney have also come out with hits against the President and the America-first movement that is arguably the only movement that will win.
Steve Hilton pressed Rep. Gaetz, saying, “But, to the point you just made, don’t you think that actually, what people really want to see out there, they want the policies implemented by Republicans, the kind of that we all agree about. I think that the vast majority of Republicans, all the polls show this, the voters want to see it as well, and that’s what they want the focus on rather than the kind of infighting where they think, ‘How will that help me?’”
Rep. Gaetz responds, “Well, we have to know who we are to be worthy of a victory in 2022. All of history would seem to indicate that Republicans could take back the House of Representatives, but we have to be worthy of winning, and that means we have to stand for the things that matter to regular Americans.”
Biden was installed as president over a month ago, and Washington still cares more about President Trump than they do their golden idol, Joe Biden. We need them to continue to obsess about Trump because their obsession turns into high approval ratings. It essentially has the exact opposite effect that they are after.
From conservatives everywhere: “please don’t stop.”
