McConnell is a backstabbing toad. Like many of Americans, my frustration has hit an all-time high after reading the New York Times report that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is gleeful after hearing the news that Democrats want to push forward with impeachment charges on Wednesday.
The report states that “Senator Mitch McConnell, the Republican leader, has told associates that he believes President Trump committed impeachable offenses and that he is pleased that Democrats are moving to impeach him, believing that it will make it easier to purge him from the party, according to people familiar with his thinking.”
President Trump did not incite the violence at the Capitol building last Wednesday.

His speech – which has been combed through by multiple experts on every radio show, podcast, and cable program – repeatedly calls for those gathered to remain patriotic and peaceful. He says the word peaceful many times, and never once did he say to go inside or commit any act of violence.
The New York Times report also says that the weak-spined Kevin McCarthy has been searching for punishments for President Trump. Rep. McCarthy played the role of Trump supporter but was recently caught to be another cut from the same cloth as McConnell.

The report states that “while Mr. McCarthy has said he is personally opposed to impeachment, he and other party leaders have decided not to formally lobby Republicans to vote “no,” and an aide to Mr. McCarthy said he was open to a measure censuring Mr. Trump for his conduct.”
When I saw President Trump speaking at the rally, I thought he felt low energy, but I brushed it off, thinking that because I was sitting at home, it, of course, lacked the same feel as being in the nation’s capital.

I now believe he knew going in that he had lost. The low energy was a man that fought like hell for four years only to watch his second term be ripped from him.
He was actively being betrayed by the people he surrounded himself with and trusted most. You could see it on his face and hear it in his voice; the man was exhausted.
In his presidency, President Trump fought every single day. Nothing came to him easily. He rose to a position that was never meant for outsiders, and they wanted him to feel like an outsider every movement he was in the White House.
The reason we admire him as we do is that we have no doubt he will get back up and fight no matter what hits him. He doesn’t just keep that fighting spirit for himself. He fought to give the American dream back to its people after every Republican and Democrat in Congress voted time after time to sell that dream to the highest foreign bidder.
Now reports tell us that Rep. McCarthy “reached out to a leading House Democrat to see if the chamber would be willing to pursue a censure vote.” I understand that censure would be less devastating than impeachment, but why does he need punishment at all?

Spare me your faux outrage after the Democrats allowed 9 months of Antifa terrorism in cities all over the United States. The Democrats and some Republicans actively encourage the rioters to continue to take to the streets. Kamala Harris donated to a fund that posted bail for rioters and encouraged others to do the same.
If President Trump gets impeached, once again, Congress will be actively inciting violence. Americans are fed up with two justice systems. While violence is never condoned or wished by anyone I know, we all watched what happened on Wednesday.
We cannot keep ignoring the frustration boiling under the surface of millions of Americans. McCarthy and McConnell need to understand that the Republican party will lose 75 million voters if they help another partisan impeachment go through.
We should celebrate everything President Trump gave our country while mourning all we will lose these next four years. Make no mistake; a Joe Biden presidency will bankrupt the United States socially, economically, and morally. We have to unite and stand strong in our conservative values. It’s up to us to hold the line.
