Report: Featured CPAC Speaker Banned From Conference After He 'Expressed Reprehensible Views'

As the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) prepares to kick off this Thursday in what could be one of the most influential and important CPAC conferences in some time, controversy is already brewing around the sudden cancellation of one of the conference’s featured speakers.

According to the Washington Examiner, a tweet from the official CPAC 2021 Twitter account explained that the leaders of the conference learned of remarks made by one of the scheduled speakers, which were apparently so bad that CPAC canceled the speaker outright.

We have just learned that someone we invited to CPAC has expressed reprehensible views that have no home with our conference or our organization. The individual will not be participating at our conference.

The shock announcement came within hours of a bombshell report from liberal media watchdog Media Matters For America about a personality by the name of Young Pharaoh, who reportedly posted a number of anti-semitic statements on his Twitter account, with some of them making bizarre claims that Jewish people aren’t real.

MMFA later updated their report to confirm that Young Pharaoh, who was listed as a featured speaker for the upcoming CPAC conference, had been canceled by the organization. Not only that, but CPAC removed virtually all trace of the controversial figure from its website.

Ironically, CPAC’s theme this year is “America Uncanceled.”

But it looks as if CPAC made the right call, as Young Pharaoh appears to have gone very deep into the conspiracy theory rabbit hole in his past. Some of the tweets he’s published over the years are bizarre, to say the least.

A tweet from last June, in all caps, made clear that Young Pharaoh believed that Judaism is fake and that it was “completely made up” for political purposes.

Along with several additional anti-semitic tweets, Pharaoh then turned his attention to the COVID-19 conspiracy world, claiming in one tweet that the vaccine for the virus “will alter your DNA with nano tech.” In another Alex Jones-worthy tweet, Young Pharaoh claimed that George Floyd’s tragic death last year was part of a plan to eventually institute martial law in America.

Even more bizarre is that after the Washington Examiner contacted Young Pharaoh for comment on the cancellation, he continued to reiterate falsities about Judaism isn’t real and that all of his previous tweets about the subject were “fact.”

The American Jewish Committee weighed in after news of Young Pharaoh’s tweets went viral, demanding that CPAC denounce his remarks, which they later did.

“CPAC leadership must denounce his antisemitic conspiracy theories and act to ensure that Jew-hatred has no place at the conference,” the organization tweeted.
