As President Donald Trump and his team of lawyers continue to fight to expose potential fraud stemming from the 2020 presidential election, the mainstream media and their allies in Congress are aggressively pushing a narrative in which they claim the election went off without a hitch and that Joe Biden is the rightful president-elect.
Joining that crowd, to nobody’s surprise, was Utah Sen. Mitt Romney, who posted a scathing rebuke of Trump’s attempts to fight back against any voter and ballot fraud in key battleground states that might have caused him to lose votes.
“Having failed to make even a plausible case of widespread fraud or conspiracy before any court of law, the President has now resorted to overt pressure on state and local officials to subvert the will of the people and overturn the election,” Romney tweeted. “It is difficult to imagine a worse, more undemocratic action by a sitting American President.

In true Trump fashion, the president responded to Romney’s unprovoked attack, calling the Never-Trumper Senator a RINO (Republican In Name Only) and referencing a tweet in which Trump warned voters about the dangers of voting machine fraud back in 2012.
“RINO Mitt Romney should read this. I’m sure, however, that he feels he got slaughtering by Obama ‘fair and square’,” Trump tweeted.

Trump and Romney’s tension-filled relationship stems from 2012, when Trump slammed Romney, then the Republican presidential candidate, for “choking” just days before the election. As you’ll remember, Obama mopped the proverbial floor with Romney on election night, securing 332 electoral college votes to Romney’s 206.
Ever since, the two have butted heads in public on many occasions, with Romney breaking ranks with the president and Republicans on some of the key issues of Trump’s presidency.
As Fox News reported, Sen. Ben Sasse joined Romney in expressing his concerns with the president’s attempt to sort out the 2020 election in various court rooms.

“Based on what I’ve read in their filings, when Trump campaign lawyers have stood before courts under oath, they have repeatedly refused to actually allege grand fraud — because there are legal consequences for lying to judges,” Sasse said.
“President Trump lost Michigan by more than 100,000 votes, and the campaign and its allies have lost in or withdrawn from all five lawsuits in Michigan for being unable to produce any evidence,” he added.
Meanwhile, Trump attorney Sidney Powell, along with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and attorney Jenna Ellis all made headlines on Thursday during a 90-minute press conference in which they claimed they had ample evidence to prove that millions of votes across the country were stolen from Trump on election night.
