Schumer Humiliated: Slips Up And Calls Capitol Riots An 'Erection' On Senate Floor

Though Donald Trump is out of office and America’s future is looking quite grim, the universe is actually really awesome at providing humor at just the right time.

Take today on the U.S. Senate floor, for example, as Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer made one of the most hilarious gaffes in the history of politics, on live television, no less.

While discussing Trump’s alleged role in the Capitol riots from January 6, Schumer must have had something else on his mind, as instead of using the word “insurrection,” he replaced it with “erection.”

The immediate look on his face after he said it is a dead giveaway that he KNEW he said it and just messed up. I’m predicting this could go down as one of the most popular videos of the years. Watch below for yourself.
